I too am an elder herbalist who started young and forged a path thru the times in the 60’s 70’s and 80″s learning from the ground up so to speak. I read Rachel Carson’s Book – Silent Spring – a long time ago now, when i was 14.

This unsettling and inspirational read, set me upon the pathways of listening and learning from the flora and fauna around me.
